3Squared was started in the basement kitchen of a tower block on the outskirts of Sheffield City Centre by its founding directors in 2002.
Since that humble beginning 3Squared has focussed on the Construction and Rail industries as it continues its impressive growth and development.
In 2009 3Squared created its first commercial software product, a data capture solution that quickly went on to become an established product within the construction sector, being used on numerous building and civil projects.
In recent years, working in collaboration with some of the UK’s leading rail companies 3Squared developed EDS – CMS, which is now the market leading Competency Management System in the rail industry.
Along the way 3Squared has attracted many leading local and national businesses as clients also winning numerous prestigious awards including Excellence in Digital Innovation at the regional Sheffield Business Awards and the Queens Award for Enterprise in Innovation.
On the back of this success, 3Squared developed and launched Competency Manager™, specifically for the Construction industry.
